Momma Says: 4 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fast-paced, sexy, and fun. If you're looking for declarations of undying love and hearts and flowers, this is not it. It is, however, a feel good, leave you with a smile read. There is some angst. I can't imagine anyone waking up to find out their married to a virtual stranger not having at least some angst, but it's not over the top. It's refreshing to see a story like this and not find instalove. Instalust, certainly, and Natalie and Chris have plenty of chemistry, plus they seem to genuinely like each other. I also enjoyed the conclusion, which is more a happy for now, open-ended one than the typical every thing's all tied up in that neat little happy ever after bow. For me, it was a nice mix of a solid direction for this couple and lots of hope.
Like the others in the series, this one can be read as a standalone, but the series does run in order, taking this team through the season to the championship game. There's always some game play included, and that's no different here, plus we get to see a little of past couples in the series in each book.
